RYAN ELLIOTT

Detroit born Ryan began his career as A&R man for Ghostly International/Spectral Sound alongside Mathew Dear, honing his DJ skills at Ann Arbors Goodnight Gracies and Detroit’s Shelter. 2009 saw Elliott relocating to Berlin to further his focus on DJing, production, and helming Spectral Sound’s growing roster from a newly international perspective. “Berlin and Detroit may not look the same, but they feel the same,” he says. “The connection isn’t just in the music, but also in both cities rough edges and honest hearts.” Since then he has become a staple in the club Mecca that is Berghain/Panorama Bar playing his impeccable House & Techno selections monthly whilst maintaining a hectic touring schedule.

About the set:
Animal Farm start a series of House Sessions around Glasgow were they get to show the deeper side of their music tastes. For their 2nd night, they invited Ostgut’s Ryan Elliott over from Berlin for a 3hr set, recreating his early morning Panorama Bar vibes. Here are the first 2 hours of that set where Ryan draws on his Detroit roots and combine them with European edge.
