Rob Clarke & Al Bradley // Apache Communications EP [3AM Recordings]
‘Braggadocious’…. I think it means boastful but can’t be certain. Anyhow, That is the word that stands out in the signature vocal from Al Bradley’s latest release on his 3am imprint. The track, ‘Skirmish’, has its foundations in a grooving bassline and smooth chords which, when combined, provide for that classic deep house sound that is 3am’s trademark. Throw in some crisp percussion and things get even more interesting. That being said, when all is said and done the thing that really stands out is THAT vocal. So grab the track and check it for yourself!
Of course, that aint the only release on 3am’s latest ‘Apache Communications’ EP. Also on duty is Rob Clarke with his latest effort ‘Apache’. Clean drums, an addicitve bassline, hypnotic chords and a delayed lead line that you could get lost in for quite some time…….. it’s true what they say you know, the simple things always work best. Great stuff.
