Hello there, my names Mike Doherty, running under the name Mike13.

Firstly, I must say I am absolutely thrilled and delighted to be invited to join the SHA Team. It’s an exciting time to be hooking-up with SHA, who, in my opinion, have really being pushing things forwards to make it an accessible, essential resource for DJ/Producers and, of course, Music-lovers everywhere.

I hope my contributions will keep your feet tapping, your hips shaking and maybe even put a smile on your face from time to time.

He started me on my musical journey by letting me record tracks to Cassette Tape from Radio 1′s Top 40, every Sunday, as a child, -My job was to ‘fade tracks in and out’ and make sure the recording level ‘just bounces in the red, Son’.Loved all music types from an early age, and I think it was pretty inevitable that I would want to DJ/Produce at some point due to my hi-fi obsessed Dad (love ya!).

Happy days indeed.

Many years on I am happy to report that I still ‘fade tracks in and out’ -I’m DJ’ing in Scotland (Edinburgh/Dunfermline) for PhunkDup, Hush, Gravity and Karnival where I recently made my debut.

I have also built up a Studio at home were I have been honing my Production Skills and will be looking to send material for publication in 2012 – and, of course, provide a few freebies for the good people visiting SHA!.

So that’s me – I love well produced music that i’ll be able to enjoy in years to come. I’ll keep trying to produce tracks and mixes that I can look back on with pride, love and affection in time to come and I hope you do too.
