Carlos Sanchez // Stability EP [Unike Muzik]

Upcoming Spaniard Carlos Sanchez brings a three-tracker to the label which has already released material for the likes of Chris Carrier and Markus Homm.

This rugged three track affair packs a sting in terms of the grooves on display. Good quality bumpin’ house is the mainline on this EP. “Claim and Think” gets dark disco on us, surging through warm textures, fusion sounds and wild pitch grind…albeit with a curious spoken vocal that certainly adds mystery.

Highlight for me is “Keyboard is not a Crime” which zaps along, using the aforementioned deep down boogie ethos with drops to add dimension. A lot ot promise here but it does sound like it needs a bit of attention somewhere….there is definitely a place to be found for this type of tracky house and with a bit of work, we shall be hearing more from this producer I am certain.

Release Date: Out Now (Vinyl)
